Piezo-driven micropumps have many advantages and spend little energy. The economic manufacturing using injection molding allows for application as a disposable device. thinXXS produces piezo-actuated micro diaphragm pumps with passive check valves. They can handle tiny volumes of fluid or gas. The flow rate of the pumps is controlled by the frequency of the piezo actuator.
